A well-known citizen of Cape Coral, Brian has always stepped up to support the community that has given him so much—and that he loves a lot. His community involvement demonstrates his dedication and passion for entrepreneurship through participation in organizations that encourage and foment new business creation and economic growth:

  • Long-time member of the Southwest Florida Manufacturing Association
  • Former president of the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association
  • Former president of the Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association
  • Past Board of Directors for the Exterior Shade & Shutter Association, Lee County’s Horizon Council, Cape Coral Council for Progress, and the International Hurricane Protection Association
  • Helped to bring a new franchise agreement between the city of Cape Coral and LCEC to the cusp, taking the city through the next 20–30 years and resolving years of negotiations as Chairman of the Cape Coral Council for Progress
  • Serves as Emeritus of the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association
  • Serves as Vice President of the Exterior Shutter and Shade Association
  • Storm Smart is an active supporter of the Harry Chapin Food Bank, partnering with the organization to raise funds for the annual “Hunger Walk” and the “Holiday Food Drive,” donating thousands of dollars and large quantities of food items
  • Has served as the title sponsor with the Storm Smart team of the annual ENPY Awards since 2017. The event showcases Southwest Floridians who are committed to the region’s nonprofit sector
  • Hosting sponsor of Cape Coral’s annual Fourth of July celebration, Red, White & Boom (2014-2017), a day-long, blowout block party with live entertainment, guest speakers, food, refreshments and one of the most incredible fireworks displays in the state
